Stall
A stall is the point at which an AI agent stops making progress towards a purchase on a store. Ottom gives each one a stable code, records the journey stage it happened in, and reports it as a single thing to fix rather than as a score going down.
The word is chosen carefully. An agent that stalls has not decided against you and has not crashed. It ran out of a way to continue: the next thing it needed was not readable, or the next control it needed was not operable. That is a mechanical condition with a mechanical cause, which is why it can be named and reproduced.
Codes are added and deprecated but never edited, because the same code keys the finding in a report, the fix instructions, the detection check and any later comparison over time.
Why it matters to a store
A stall is actionable in a way a score is not. "Your readiness is low" gives a developer nothing. "The size picker cannot be activated without a mouse, here is the page and here is what to change" is a ticket.
